The last week of April, in Phoenix AZ, a tiny part, a little seal, broke on my car's air conditioning system, causing its total collapse. The seal, it seemed, was not available anywhere in the United States, though a doomed search was done. No, we just had to wait for the little part to come in from wherever in the world it was coming from. This was a bit of a disaster for me, since I was scheduled to take two trips across the states - and the weather forecast was for 95 degrees both days. When the part arrived, I brought my car to the dealership, where the mechanics discovered that the root cause of the problem was still another part. Luckily, almost all of this expensive repair work was covered by an extended warranty. Phillip, who took charge of all this lengthy process (including getting the insurance rep in to bless the repair), kept in touch with me almost daily during this process, and at one point, even offered me a loaner car. He stayed right on top of the issue, and finally reunited me with my car and its air conditioning, just in time for the long hot summer.
