They told me and my wife that our 2015 Sierra had a leak in the radiator and our power booster was leaking and our appointment was for the AC only and they would have to keep our Truck for several days, and it was all because they had the paper work mixed up.

Took car in for tires and oil change, complete inspection done during visit. Next time 2 days later when I went to use the car the battery was completely dead. Not only did I have to wait all day when the car was originally taken in because the wrong tires were ordered. But I was without a car for 2 days because the battery was dead on a Sunday and my neighbor had to pick up the new battery and install because no one could be sent out on Monday. Evidently the batter was not checked properly during serivce.

Overall this experience has left me to give up on Yates Buick and GMC. I had the oil changed, basic maintenance package covered it. The real issue was with a noise the windshield is making while driving into wind. Over the next couple of days there was no wind. The issue has been since the problem can't be recreated they can't work on the issue. Reasonable, they test drove the truck multiple times and had me go in to do a drive along with their mechanic to see if the issue would present itself. He could not be found and the person at the counter said that it had been looked over but that there was nothing else that he could do. Mind you that this is a loud nagging whistle that you don't expect to have to suffer with if you pay over 50 thousand dollars for a truck. The biggest thing was that I was told that the windshield was looked at but my truck being super dusty had no marks on the fender or on the windshield itself. I expected someone to lean on the truck in some form or wipe away some dirt in the corner that I pointed out at the least. The person at the front desk when asked if I can speak to a manager said he was done talking about the issue and that the truck was ready to be picked up. I spoke to the sales manager who came back with the same response of there was nothing else that could be done. I explained how upset I was with the fact that I purchased just about everything that they were offering for maintenance at the time of purchasing my truck. When I went back to my truck I was met by two gentlemen from management whom agreed that one of them would ride along. We went on a ride along and the issue did not present itself. He said to bring the truck back in when it was windy and that he would go on the test drive again. Finally some real customer service. I obviously understand the liability issue in taking stuff apart without having warranty company consent. I understand safety as I displayed while on the test drive. I wouldn't put someone in danger just to prove my point. The person at the front desk made me feel like I was at a Jiffy Lube knock off location. My first oil change was done in Merced, Ca where we experienced a real dealership feel. The truck was topped off on fluids and came back washed. I'd honestly rather pay for my oil change at a different location. I also believe that I will be driving the extra 20 miles when it comes to moving up to the 2500 HD Sierra this May. In short, Yates you lost me in every aspect of owning a new truck from your dealership. Thank you to shane and the other gentleman who didn't give up just because the mechanic wasn't there. I have scheduled an appointment (not at Yates) next week to have my windshield replaced to see if the whistle dissappeares.

A little over a month ago I brought my car in to be serviced. The fuel pump door broke. While there we decided to address 2 recalls while my car was being serviced (System updates). During this process, the system was reset including the oil life monitor. My car was prob at 35% oil life. When I got my car back it was at 100%. I didn���t notice nor was I advised that it would reset the oil life monitor. A month and a half later I realize that the numbers don���t add up. I call Yates Buick and they advise me that the system was reset and I am likely due for an oil change. My last oil change was at 36000 miIes, the mileage on my car was 48000. I schedule an appt. I arrive at the scheduled time of 10AM. 2 hours later my car is still not done. I finally get out of there a little after 12PM. When I get to my car it���s still dirty, the shop guys left their dirty seat, oily floor and steering wheel protector sheets in the car. It was just a bad experience. The oil change took way longer than needed, they didn���t run it through the complimentary wash and they left their garbage in my car. Not something I want to deal with or touch especially with Covid going around. Now my car smells of exhaust whenever I start it. Disappointed with the service received. The guy Miguel that was my assigned service guy was nice and professional at both interactions but the actual service is what I am disappointed with.

I have been going to Yates for close to 30 years and they always treat me as though it was my first visit. Everyone from Mike and Tyler(owners) to the person answering the phone. They are always Kind, Respectful, and do a GREAT job at making sure you are treated like a VIP each and every time. Whether I'm there to buy a vehicle or service my car or just to purchase something from parts, they always give 100%.
